“We Are One” To Return With Passion For Khmer Arts

Phnom Penh- On November 18^th, 2017, a cultural and artistic event called “We Are One” under the theme of Youth for Environmental Protection and Culture, will be held at Chaktomuk Conference Hall from 9:00 A.M – 6:00 P.M.

This event aims to raise awareness and inspire young Cambodians to understand the cultural traditions of Khmer Civilization, deepen their roots and motivate for new ideas and practices. The event will include classical Cambodian performances such as theater, ballet and Apsara dances, Sovannmacha dances, Khmer musical instruments, contemporary arts and fashion shows. In addition, singers Nico, Virak Nich, Souly Pheng, Propey, Pich, Dina Rak, and Cagepitch will all be present as well as many other celebrities.

There are two types of tickets; normal ticket (20,000 riels or $5) and VIP ticket (30,000 riels or $7.50). Moreover, there will be “We Are One” t-shirts for sale. Profits made from the sold t-shirts and tickets will be donated to orphanages, schools in remote areas and used for planting trees.
